ARMANDS SILIŅŠ was born in Saldus, Latvia. In 2002, he graduated the vocal class of professor Margarita Gruzdeva in Jāzeps Mediņš Music school.

Since 1999 he has been the choir member of the Latvian National opera, since 2003 – the choir soloist. Armands Siliņš repertoire includes Schaunard (La Boheme), Surin (The Queen of Spades), Angelotti (Tosca), Gonsago (Hamlet, opera by Jānis Kalniņš) and Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro in opera studio). As baritone solo the artist has participated in some concert performances: The Long Night, cantata by J.Kalniņš, Dixit Dominus by A.Vivaldi, Mass in G major by F.Schubert and Requiem by G.Faure.
