Ivars BRĪNUMS earned his bachelor’s (2006) and master’s (2008) in violin performance from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where he also earned a bachelor’s in viola performance (2020).

 

Member of the chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga since it was established in 2006. He has been a member of the Bachakademie Stuttgart (Germany), the ERASMUS Chamber Orchestra, the Nordic Symphony Orchestra, and other projects in Latvia and abroad. An active performer of chamber music, he is a member of the quartet Fantastic four and the Ivars Brīnums Trio.
