an audition for the full-time employment

as Tutti Double Bass

The audition will be held in Riga, at the concert hall “Lielā ģilde” (the Large Guild) at 14:30 pm on 30 March 2022 (by draw).

Requirements for candidates:

- An academic higher education or a student in the Double Bass specialty;

- Work experience in orchestra.

Job duties of the Tutti Double Bass

To prepare and play the scores of the Double Bass to the highest artistic standard.

To comply with the work plans and the composition approved by the Board, and other internal documents of VSIA “Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris”.

To maintain and improve the individual mastery throughout the term of the agreement.

In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit their curriculum vitae (CV), motivation letter, the copies of the documents supporting educational qualifications and further training, for students – a certificate issued by the higher educational establishment, and confirmation for consent for the processing of personal data.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 March 2022. Applications must be submitted by email to the email address of the LNSO: lnso@lnso.lv, with the reference “For the audition”. Applications received after 12 am on 20 March 2022 will not be considered.
