We are delighted and proud to announce that our Principal Flutist, Tommaso Pratola, is the winner of the Special Prize at the prestigious Aeolus International Competition for Wind Instruments 2021 in Düsseldorf.


The jury consisted of renown international musicians such as Marc Tardue, Jean-Louis Capezzali, Dag Jensen, Andrea Lieberknecht, Gabor Meszaros, Ulla Miilmann, Christian Wetzel, Raimund Wippermann.

Out of all the participants consisting of international flutists, oboists and bassoonists, Tommaso Pratola was awarded the best interpretation of a contemporary music piece.

Besides the significant prize money, he will also be given the opportunity to play a number of concerts organized by a German agency of music.


We congratulate Tommaso for this great achievement!
