Beāte Zviedre

Beāte ZVIEDRE is a singer with a refined, nuanced voice, a broad vocal range, and rich experience as a performer. She graduated from the Riga Cathedral Choir School choral conducting class and earned a master's degree in jazz singing from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, class of Inga Bērziņa. Additionally, she studied academic singing with Kristīne Gailīte and Aira Rūrāne.

Beāte performs as a solo vocalist in various formations and projects. Recent performance highlights include Symphony No. 4 by Imants Kalniņš with Jelgava Chamber Orchestra, conductor Aigars Meri; Leonard Bernstein's Mass in Germany, conductor Bassem Akiki; international Euroradio Christmas concert broadcasted live by Latvian Radio 3 Klasika in December 2019; concert Born in Latvia with conductor Ainārs Rubiķis and chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga. Beāte has performed as a jazz soloist with orchestra Rīga and the Jelgava Big Band. Recently, she made her debut with the Latvian Radio Big Band in a new music  programme. She has been the soprano of Latvian vocal band Framest since 2010.
