(Latvian National Symphony Orchestra), announces
an audition for full-time employment
as Principal Percussion
for one year with possibility for permanent position
The audition will be held in Riga, Kr. Valdemara Street 5 at the Riga Congress Hall at 14:30 on 13 May, 2025 (by draw).
Requirements for candidates:
· Excellent instrument skill;
· Profound knowledge of the orchestra repertoire;
· Strong leadership skills;
· Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills;
· Experience in a professional orchestra;
· An academic higher education or a student in the Percussion specialty.
The audition will be performed on Ludwig Grand Symphonic timpani with an American pedal system equipped with REMO “Renaissance” skins.
In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit:
· curriculum vitae (CV),
· motivation letter,
· copies of documents supporting educational qualifications,
· confirmation of consent to the processing of personal data.
The deadline for submitting applications is 5 May, 2025. Applications must be submitted by email to the email address of the LNSO: personals@lnso.lv, with the reference “For the audition”.
Applications received after 24 on 5 May, 2025 will not be considered.
