LNSO ANNOUNCES AN AUDITION FOR THE FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT AS CONCERTMASTER

State limited liability company VSIA “Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris” (Latvian National Symphony Orchestra), announces an audition for the full-time employment as concertmaster for one year with possibility for permanent position
The audition will be held at Riga Congress Hall, Riga, Kr. Valdemara street 5. 1st round and 1st half of the 2nd round - on 7 October 2025, at 11:00 (by draw) and 2 d half of the 2nd round - on 8 October 2025 at 13:15. On the 2nd part of the 2nd round candidate performs the solo parts with the LNSO.
Requirements for candidates:
Excellent instrument proficiency, ability to perform solos at the highest level;
Profound knowledge of the orchestra's repertoire;
Strong leadership skills;
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills;
Experience as an orchestra concertmaster will be considered an advantage.
In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit:
curriculum vitae (CV),
motivation letter,
copies of documents supporting educational qualifications,
confirmation of consent to the processing of personal data.

Applications received after 23:59 on 21 September 2025 will not be considered.
