Terēze GRETERE studies early music singing at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA) Department of Early Music, currently doing her master’s in the class of Rinalds Kandalincevs. Terēze is most grateful to the department and her pedagogues Aira Rūrāne, Rinalds Kandalincevs and head of the department Māris Kupčs for the exciting journey that keeps her pushing forwards and discovering new realms in early music and personal development alike.

Terēze has honed her skills in student exchange programmes: at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Norma Sharp and at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Firenze with chamber music specialist Leonardo De Lisi and early music vocalist and theoretician Patrizia Vaccari. She has gained experience in workshops with Europe-based American early music specialist Jill Feldman, vocalist Britta Schwarz, conductor Edwin Scholz, pedagogue Margreet Honig, and others.

Terēze Gretere collaborates with the Riga Early Music Centre and conductor Māris Kupčs on a regular basis since 2014. In recent years she has worked with early music conductors David Shemer, Franck-Emmanuel Comte, among others.
