an audition for the full-time employment
as Tutti Double Bass
The audition will be held in Riga, Amatu Street 6, at the concert hall “Lielā ģilde” (the Great Guild) at 15:00 am on August 14, 2023 (by draw).
Requirements for candidates:
- An academic higher education or a student in the Double Bass specialty;
- Work experience in orchestra.
Job duties of the Tutti Double Bass
To prepare and play the scores of Double Bass at the highest artistic level.
To comply with the work plans and the composition approved by the Board, and other internal documents of VSIA “Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris”.
To maintain and improve individual mastery throughout the term of the agreement.
In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit their curriculum vitae (CV), motivation letter, copies of the documents supporting educational qualifications and further training, for students – a certificate issued by the higher educational establishment, and confirmation of consent for the processing of personal data.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 6, 2023. Applications must be submitted by email to the email address of the LNSO: personals@lnso.lv, with the reference “For the audition”. Applications received after 24 on August 6, 2023 will not be considered.
