(Latvian National Symphony Orchestra), announces
an audition for the full-time employment
as concertmaster
for one year with possibility for permanent position
The audition will be held in Riga, Kr.Valdemara street 5, at Riga Congress Hall at 14:30 on 27 March 2025 (by draw).
Requirements for candidates:
Excellent instrument proficiency, ability to perform solos at the highest level;
Profound knowledge of the orchestra's repertoire;
Strong leadership skills;
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with regard to the first violin section, the orchestra, and the conductor;
Providing bowings for the string section;
At least 3 years of orchestra concertmaster experience in a professional orchestra.
In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit:
curriculum vitae (CV),
motivation letter,
copies of documents supporting educational qualifications,
confirmation of consent to the processing of personal data.
